Elbow Grease is an internal tool run by Gutter Capital. It is used by Gutter partners, Gutter staff, and Elbow Grease mentors to keep track of check-ins with companies in the program. It is not a public product.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use them to know who you are and what you are allowed to see. We do not ask Google for anything else, and we do not read your email, calendar, or files.
Inside the tool, people record check-in notes: who met, when, what was discussed, and what was agreed. Those notes are stored so that the partner and mentor working with a company can see the history of that company.
How we use it
Only to run the Elbow Grease program. Sign-in details decide access. Check-in notes are visible to the Gutter partners and staff, and to the mentor assigned to that company. Nothing is used for advertising or profiling.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your information with anyone outside Gutter Capital, other than the service providers that host the tool (Vercel and its database provider) and Google for sign-in. They process the data on our behalf and under our instructions.
Keeping and removing data
We keep sign-in records and check-in notes for as long as the program and the tool are in use. If you want your account removed or have any question about this policy, email elbowgrease@gutter.cc.
